ARTICLE PUBLICATION:

AWN MUSIC IN ANIMATION

Today on the first day of this year’s Annecy International Animated Film Festival in France, the Animation World Network released its second annual special print edition of ANIMATIONWorld Magazine. I wrote an article concerning the festival’s featured “Music in Animation” programming.

You can download a free PDF copy of the complete magazine, here. My article appears on pages 17 and 18 of the PDF (magazine pages 33-35).

SCORE & SOUND:

A STORY I WILL NEVER TELL

I thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with fellow CalArtian Smita Minda on her first short created for the BFA Character Animation program. Check out additional score and sound productions on my film page.

MUSIC & LYRICS:

PETER & IONA

Among ongoing musical theatre projects is fantasy adventure “Peter and Iona,” chock-full of magic, music, mystery, romance, and rebellion. Writers Patrick W. Phillips & Sara Elizabeth Woodard are responsible for its sensational script while I pen lyrics and music. Below are four live acoustic demo recordings of the show’s songs, with a new song added since the last newsletter. The added track is “Obvious/Free Fall.” Stay tuned for more demos and announcements! They will be posted alongside other projects on my music for the stage page. Learn more about the project and its team, here.
